The matchmaking is for startups in Romania and Bulgaria as well as any entity from Norway which is interested in cooperation with startups!

Aims
The matchmaking aims to connect partners in Bulgaria or Romania and Norway so that they might apply for a bilateral cooperation project in the open calls for projects. The open calls funds projects on projects implemented by startups within one of the following focus areas:

The SMEs Growth Programme in Romania
The programme in Romania makes available a 1 million euro to increasing competitiveness for Romanian enterprises within the mentioned areas.

Business Development, Innovation and SMEs Programme in Bulgaria
The programme puts forward 2 million euros to increasing the competitiveness of Bulgarian enterprises.

Bilateral cooperation with Norway
The programmes aim to increase value creation and sustainable growth in the Romanian and Bulgarian business sector. They also aim to increase bilateral relations between Romania and Bulgaria and Norway. Project partnerships between Romania or Bulgaria and Norway are encouraged.
Projects can be implemented in cooperation with any Romanian or Bulgarian startup and any private or public entity, commercial or non-commercial, established as a legal person in Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein (in Romania) and in Norway (for Bulgaria).
The projects can also include national partners from Bulgaria and Romania.
Time
Friday 15 October, in the B2Match platform, from 12:00 UTC+3 timezone (Romanian/ Bulgarian time) and 11:00 (Norwegian time).
The link will be sent out via email to all those who have registered the day before the event.
Registrations is in B2Match via the green button to the right.
You will be able to book meetings on the day. However you will also have access to the platform for a few weeks after and communication can continue during that timeframe.
Short meetings with the team at Innovation Norway
Participants at the matchmaking can also book short meetings with staff at Innovation Norway. The meetings can clarify questions about the application process or help to find a partner in Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein.
